One of the greatest ways to detox your mind is meditation. Meditation is the process of moving from ones head to ones heart or inner person. It is a type of reconnection with the balancing vibrations of earth and spirit. Meditation techniques vary and are adaptable to just about any setting and or person.
Focus on breathing is usually a great place to start, to begin to picture and feel your breath moving into and out of your lungs. This enables you to begin the process of moving from your head to your body. I also find it beneficial to play relaxing music. The combo of breathing and soft music creates an environment where we can continue to move from our heads to our body and then into our soul. It is there that the power to adjust our being occurs.
Some meditation is guided and other is not. Guided meditation helps whenever I have a lot on my mind and am a bit overwhelmed. The guide helps move you into a place where you are completely connected. Once in a place of complete relaxation and inner connection the detoxing can begin. As we begin to feel, sense, and experience inner things we also begin to process things that don't belong and embrace things from the inside out.
